Use and care
Remove the packaging and labels from the product, and wash the pot before the first use.
Usage:
- Never heat the pot empty!
- Add salt to just boiling water to prevent the salt from damaging the steel.
- Warning: Never leave the pot on the stove unattended.
Option 1:
- Use plenty of baking soda and add water, at least enough to cover the dirty spots.
- Put the pan on the stove and let the mixture boil for approx. 20-30 minutes (keep an eye on the pot so the mixture doesn't boil over).
- Take the pan off the plate, pour off the liquids, and wipe the pan clean with a coarse dish sponge.
- Rinse and dry.
Option 2:
- Moisten the pan and the stained areas, add baking soda to the stained areas, let it act for approx. 30 min and brush the steel clean with a coarse dish sponge. Rinse and dry.
Option 3:
- Make a ''paste'' from water and baking soda that you can spread on the stains, let it work for approx. 30 min and brush off with a coarse dish sponge. Rinse and dry.

Induction stove
The product is suitable for use on induction cooktops. Induction cookers heat up very quickly. Never heat the cookware at full power, instead, use medium heat settings. The maximum power settings on the cooker are only for boiling water.
For coated pans: never heat the cookware when it's empty. Always add cooking oil to a cold pan.

The product can be washed in a dishwasher.
For pans we however always recommend hand washing for optimal washing results.
Non-toxic, no PFAS-chemicals or plastic
The product is 100% PFAS-free and plastic free and does not contain any chemicals harmful to nature and humans. The product is PFAS-free from production to the final product. The product is also free of lead and cadmium. HEIROL is the first and so far the only Finnish company to sign the ChemSec initiative to ban the use of all PFAS chemicals in the EU by 2026.
