Warm winter salad

This wonderful winter salad is made in our new Cerasafe Triply-coated frying pan. In our 100% non-toxic frying pan, you can sauté the leek and Brussels sprouts, creating a deliciously soft base for your salad. Quick, easy, and customizable with all sorts of toppings! For this recipe, we used almonds, pomegranate seeds, and parmesan cheese, but goat cheese, bacon, or even apple slices would be great additions! Make it your own by adjusting to your taste and create a beautiful salad that’s perfect for holiday gatherings!

400 g Brussels sprouts
1 leek (chopped)
A handful of pomegranate seeds
80 g roasted almonds
50 g parmesan shavings

For the dressing:
1/2 lemon's juice
1 tsp maple syrup
3 tbsp olive oil
A pinch of salt

Place a little bit of butter on a cold pan and heat it on medium heat. Once the butter has melted, add the chopped leek to the pan. Let the leek cook, and while it's cooking, cut the Brussels sprouts into 2-3 pieces (depending on their size) and add them to the pan. Let both cook for about 10-15 minutes, or until they are soft and have a little color. Then, place the leek and Brussels sprouts on a plate and sprinkle with roasted almonds, parmesan shavings, and pomegranate seeds. Finally, mix all the dressing ingredients together and pour the dressing over the salad.
