Slice up your vegetables and fruits in no time with this sharp, manually operated mandoline slicer. The V-blade makes slicing easy. You can control the thickness of your slices, ranging from 1-9 mm, with a simple adjustment screw that is located on the side of the mandoline. Change to a wave blade to add a nice touch to the cut vegetables. The julienne setting will allow you to prepare beautiful veggie sticks (4.5 mm) as well as french fries (9 mm). The mandoline comes with a separate finger protector (Psst! Must be used at all times). The non-slip feet makes it easy to use. Hand wash will increase products lifetime.
HOW TO USE: 1. Place the mandoline slicer on a clean, dry, and sturdy surface. 2. Secure the food onto the center of the food holder. Ensure both ends of the food have flat surfaces. Press the round knob on top of the food holder to expose the prongs, then firmly push the prongs into the food to hold it securely. 3. While slicing, apply pressure to the knob to help move the food along the prongs toward the blade. 4. Using even pressure, slide the food back and forth across the blade. With your other hand, hold the appliance firmly in place to prevent slipping.
HOW TO CLEAN: Clean the mandoline slicer and all accessories immediately after each use. Rinse the parts with warm, soapy water. Use a brush if needed to remove any food stuck around the blades—never touch the blades directly, as they are extremely sharp. All parts are dishwasher safe; however, hand washing is recommended to maintain optimal blade performance. Dry all parts thoroughly before storing. Store the blades separately in a sealed container to prevent accidental contact and ensure safety.
