The renewed Cerasafe® Triply sauce pan is 100% PFAS-free, plastic free and non-toxic and ensures a safe and healthy cooking experience every time! The Cerasafe® Triply series' items have a ceramic coating which is free of any PFAS-chemicals that are harmful to humans and the environment.
The products withstand wear and tear and are therefore a favorite of many professionals. High-quality 3-ply structure spreads heat evenly around the pan. The body and handle are made of stainless steel and the sauce pan can be used on all stoves including induction and oven (max. 200 °C).
The Cerasafe® Triply series is an ecological choice: due to its excellent heat conductivity the products are energy saving and lasts well in correct use. The product is PFAS-free from the manufacturing processes to the end product.
In January 2022, HEIROL signed the NO TO PFAS initiative of the environmental organization ChemSec as the FIRST Finnish operator. The movement aims to have several harmful fluorinated (PFAS) compounds - called "forever chemicals" because they do not break down in nature - phased out and banned. Sooli-geelitekniikalla voidaan valmistaa matalissa lämpötiloissa energiaa säästäen ympäristöystävällisiä pinnoitteita erilaisten materiaalien päälle.
Tammikuussa 2022, HEIROL allekirjoitti ympäristöjärjestö ChemSecin NO TO PFAS-liikkeen aloitteen ENSIMMÄISENÄ suomalaisena toimijana. Liike pyrkii siihen, että useita haitallisia fluorattuja (PFAS) yhdisteitä – joita kutsutaan “ikuisiksi kemikaaleiksi”, koska ne eivät hajoa luonnossa – poistetaan käytöstä ja kielletään. A PFAS-free pan with a ceramic coating is more sensitive to overheating. Please avoid heating the pan when empty or using the stove's highest heat settings.
• Never heat the pan when it's empty. Always add cooking fat to a cold pan.
• Never heat the pan on full power. Full power should only be used for boiling water. This is especially important when using an induction stove.
• Only use wooden/plastic/silicone utensils with coated products.
• Allow the pan to cool before washing. Carefully wash both the inside and outside of the pan by hand with detergent and a brush/sponge after each use. Also, keep the stove clean.
• Hand washing extends the product's lifespan.
• Do not store food in a coated pan. The acids in the food may damage the coating.
Note! Overheating will damage the coating. Never heat the pan when empty or leave it on the stove unattended. Do not use the highest heat settings.
Pre-marinated products, especially those with high sugar content, can easily burn and stick to the surface, as sugar heats up very quickly. Use a particularly low heat setting when frying foods with high sugar content.

The product is also free of lead and cadmium. HEIROL is the first and so far the only Finnish company to sign the ChemSec initiative to ban the use of all PFAS chemicals in the EU by 2026.

HEIROL product warranty covers manufacturing and material defects and is valid when the product has been used in normal household use without clear signs of misuse (such as excessive force, abuse, intentional damage, etc.) and when the product has been used and maintained according to the instructions.
