A steel pan is a classic that lasts a lifetime in your kitchen. This steel pan is a kitchen classic. Many chefs favor steel pans in their kitchens and there's no wondering why! Steel pans are an ecological choice which lasts for years in use. There is no coating and thus steel pans are free of any PFAS compounds and an ecological choice. You can also use steel utensils without worry.
The HEIROL Steely pan has a triple layer base which heats efficiently and evenly. The ergonomic, stylishly designed handle is comfortable and makes the use effortless. The pan is suitable for all stoves, including induction, and the oven. We recommend hand wash as machine-wash will seldom clean the pan completely.
Commissioning: Remove packaging and labels from the product. Wash the pan in a detergent solution before the first use. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
Psst! If you wish, you can initially treat the pan with oil that withstands high temperatures (e.g., coconut oil) as needed: Add a generous amount of oil to the clean pan. Then gradually heat the pan until the oil starts to smoke. Turn off the stove and let the pan cool down peacefully. Finally, wipe off the excess oil from the pan with a clean paper towel. Usage: Always ensure before use that the pan is completely clean. When frying food, first heat the pan empty on medium heat so that the small pores on the surface of the steel close. You can verify this by doing a test with a few drops of water. If the water stays cohesive and slides on the pan, the pan is hot enough. After this, add a generous amount of cooking fat to the pan. Wipe the moist surface of meat, chicken, and fish with paper towels before frying. Do not add cold food to the pan as it sticks more easily. The ingredient to be fried should always be at room temperature before frying.
Let the food fry peacefully at medium heat before turning. Stoves (ceramic, induction, gas) behave differently. Observe and learn peacefully so that cooking becomes enjoyable.
We recommend hand washing with a sponge and dishwashing detergent to get the surface of the pan thoroughly clean. We recommend using plenty of cooking fat for frying. Allow the ingredient to fry peacefully on the pan before turning it so that it does not stick to the surface. The best frying result is obtained using medium heat or lower temperatures on the stove.
The steel pan is perfect for cooking steak, vegetables, chicken, and foods fried in oil. For eggs or white fish, we recommend coated Cerasafe Pro pans or Groove series pans.
Cleaning: let the product cool before washing. Clean the pan as soon as possible after use – we recommend hand washing and a coarse sponge. The surface does not become clean enough in the machine. Hand washing extends the life of the pan.
Warning: Overheating may damage the frying pan. Never leave the frying pan on the stove unattended.

The product is suitable for use on induction cooktops. Induction cookers heat up very quickly. Never heat the cookware at full power, instead, use medium heat settings. The maximum power settings on the cooker are only for boiling water.
For coated pans: never heat the cookware when it's empty. Always add cooking oil to a cold pan.

Hand washing extends the product's lifespan. Wash the product with dishwashing detergent and a brush/sponge after each use.
Non-toxic, no PFAS-chemicals or plastic
The product is 100% PFAS-free and plastic free and does not contain any chemicals harmful to nature and humans. The product is PFAS-free from production to the final product. The product is also free of lead and cadmium. HEIROL is the first and so far the only Finnish company to sign the ChemSec initiative to ban the use of all PFAS chemicals in the EU by 2026.
HEIROL is also the first Finnish company to bring PFAS-free coatings to consumers.
