BIALETTI MOKA EXPRESS - THE ORIGINAL MOKA POT SINCE 1933
Make sure you buy the original, the one and only with the gentleman with a mustache. Bialetti Moka Express pots have been manufactured for over 80 years. Alfonso Bialetti invented the Moka back in 1933 and the logo, the man with the mustache, is Renato Bialetti, the son of the inventor.
MADE IN ITALY
The Moka Express pots are made in Italy and their quality has been enhanced with an ergonomic handle and a patented safety valve, which makes them easy to use and clean. Available in many sizes and suitable for induction cooktops, if used with a Bialetti adapter plate for induction (sold separately).
A SUSTAINABLE WAY OF PREPARING COFFEE
Using Bialetti Moka Express is a 100% sustainable way of preparing your coffee, as it produces no waste, is cleaned without detergents, and is a timeless item that can be passed down from one generation to another.
THE RIGHT NUMBER OF ESPRESSO CUPS
Simple measure: 1 cup equals 2oz (0,6 dl) of espresso.
The Moka Express is available in multiple sizes: 1-cup (2oz espresso), 3-cup (6oz espresso), 6-cup (12oz espresso), 9-cup (18oz espresso), and 12-cup (24oz espresso).
1. Fill the bottom part of the nut pan with water up to the valve.
2. Place the funnel in place and fill it evenly with espresso ground coffee. Don't press the coffee tightly, the coffee will rise to the top of the pan with pressure and it won't rise if the coffee is pressed too tightly.
3. Put the pan on the stove and turn on the stove. You can lower the temperature a little when the water starts to boil and the coffee rises to the top of the pan.
4. Leave the nut pan to cool and enjoy your coffee.
5. Rinse the parts of the pan with warm water without soap and leave the parts to dry separately.
Do not leave the used pan for a long time. Wash the pan when it has cooled slightly. A pan left for too long becomes very tight and can be difficult to open. The handle of the nut pan is not made for opening the pan. The handle may crack if it is twisted too hard. Open the nut pan by holding the pan and twisting.
Your nut pan will last as long as you remember these few tips:
Wash your pan after each use and only with water . So don't use soap. Dry carefully. If you stack an aluminum pan when it is wet, it will become brittle. Dispense the coffee into the strainer lightly, do not press the coffee tightly.
Fill the water tank only up to the nut in the tank. Make sure that the threads go into place when you close the pan. Do not twist the pan by the handle.
When the coffee has risen, take the kettle off the stove.
Change the seal at regular intervals. The old seal becomes brittle and hardens before a long time.
