Description
Cook beautiful round 14 cm blinis, pancakes or fried eggs with this black matte enameled cast iron pan. The matte enamel protects the cast iron surface from rust. The pan is suitable for all stoves, also induction. However, cast iron expands when it heats so remember to use only mean temperatures with cast iron products. The pan might crack if heated too fast. Hand wash. Season every now and then with oil that can endure extremely high temperatures (for example coconut oil). Heat the pan to high temperatures, spread the oil on the pan, let cool and clean with kitchen towel paper.
Cast iron expands when heated, so
it is important to heat the pan at medium power, especially on an induction stove
when using If the pan heats up too quickly too hot, it
may crack. The pan should not be heated empty, always add water, fat or oil to the pan before you start heating the pan.
Matt enameled cast iron requires gentle maintenance and care: when the vessel is
the cooled, dirty surface is scraped clean with a wooden, plastic or
with a heat-resistant nylon scraper. The pan is immersed in hot water
in soapy water and scrub off the dirt with a kitchen brush or sponge.
Long soaking is not recommended. The cleaned product is dried
carefully by hand, as moisture can cause the pan to rust.
If the cast iron pan gets scratched, it should be maintained by spreading it
cooking oil on the pan using a soft, lint-free cloth.
Excess oil is wiped off after processing, for example
with financial paper. The treatment prevents oxidation and therefore also
rusting.
Food can be served directly from cast iron dishes, but do not store them
food for a long time. Moisture or food stored in a container for a long time may
causes the pan to rust.

The product is suitable for use on induction cooktops. Induction cookers heat up very quickly. Never heat the cookware at full power, instead, use medium heat settings. The maximum power settings on the cooker are only for boiling water.
For coated pans: never heat the cookware when it's empty. Always add cooking oil to a cold pan.
