Enjoy the preparing and eating of asparagus with the HEIROL 4 L asparagus pot. The pot can also be used for spaghetti or as a wine cooler!
Cut off the dry part of the asparagus. Peel the asparagus with a peeler. Place the asparagus upwards in the basket, and put the basket in boiling, lightly salted, water. Leave the asparagus buds out of water.
Cooking time depends on the thickness and the picking time of the asparagus. The usual cooking time for green asparagus is 3-8 minutes and for white 10-15 minutes.
When ready, remove the basket and drain the asparagus. Serve right away!
Deployment: remove packaging and labels for the product. Wash the pot the first time you use it.
Never heat the pot empty!
Add salt to the boiling water so the salt doesn't damage the steel.
Warning: Overheating damages the coating. Don't
never leave the pot unattended.
Cooking asparagus: Cut away any dried and porous part of the asparagus base. Peel the stalks from top to bottom with an asparagus knife or a paring knife with a movable blade. Place the asparagus in the basket with the knobs facing up, and fill the pot with water about halfway up. Leave the asparagus knobs above the water line, so they will cook in the steam to just the right size, like rapsaks. Asparagus that is thicker and picked at a later stage of the harvest season requires a longer cooking time. The cooking time for green asparagus is 3-8 minutes and white asparagus 10-15 minutes. Test for doneness with a potato needle or a fork.
Remove the ripe asparagus from the water and drain. Place the drained asparagus on a warm plate covered with a cloth to dry for a while. Serve immediately.

The product is suitable for use on induction cooktops. Induction cookers heat up very quickly. Never heat the cookware at full power, instead, use medium heat settings. The maximum power settings on the cooker are only for boiling water.
For coated pans: never heat the cookware when it's empty. Always add cooking oil to a cold pan.
