Easy and delicious bun recipe

It's the best thing ever to have fresh, crispy, fragrant rolls for breakfast and with so little effort! This bun recipe will bring a smile to your face!

Make the dough in the evening by simply mixing the ingredients together.

In the morning, pop the oven on, spoon the dough onto a baking tray and bake for about 20 minutes. (In the meantime, you can change out of your nightie and get ready for the day.)

You can bake just as many rolls as you need. The dough will keep in the fridge for several days.

For variety, sprinkle some flour, sesame seeds (dark or light), parmesan cheese or whatever you like on top of the rolls.

When I want to indulge at breakfast, I eat my rolls with marmalade.

Bun recipe

You will need:
25 g fresh yeast
7 dl water
2 dl rye flour
8-10 dl other flours You can mix baking flour, spelt flour, regular flour.
15 g flaxseed
1 tbsp salt

Mix water, yeast and salt in a bowl.
Add the rye flour first and then the other flours.
Mix with a wooden spoon until the dough has a porridge-like consistency.
Cover the bowl with baking paper and place a cloth on top.
The baking paper is handy because when the dough rises, it doesn't stick to the cloth but to the baking paper from which you can easily take up the dough.
Bake the rolls in a hot oven at 230°C for half an hour.
Remove the buns from the oven and place them on a wire rack. Do not cover the buns to keep them crispy.
