Apple oat porridge

On cool autumn mornings, it's wonderful to cook oatmeal and top it with sautéed apples! This porridge is finished with nuts and a drizzle of honey. And, of course, a warm cup of coffee on the side.

Recipe

2 dl rolled oats
1/2 l water
3/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp butter
1 apple
1 tbsp walnuts
1 tbsp pistachios
1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
1 tbsp dark chocolate or dark chocolate chips
Honey
Cinnamon and cardamom

Place the rolled oats in a 2-liter pot and add water. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat, cover with a lid, and let it simmer for about 5–7 minutes. Add butter to a cold pan and heat it over medium heat. Slice the apple and sauté the slices in the pan for about 5 minutes until they are soft. Pour the oatmeal into two bowls and top with the sautéed apples, cinnamon, cardamom, seeds, nuts, honey, and chocolate chips.

Morning porridge <3 Coffee

There’s nothing quite like that feeling of starting the morning by making delicious porridge and fresh coffee. Their wonderful aromas fill the kitchen and immediately create a cozy atmosphere. One of our favorite ways to prepare coffee is with a vacuum French press; its steel construction keeps the coffee warm for a long time. It’s a perfect choice for those calm morning moments when you want to fully enjoy the experience.

Hope you have lovely Autumnal moments!
