Where everyday moments slow down, and cooking turns into something closer to a way of living. This summer, we follow that feeling to northern Italy, to a landscape shaped by vineyards, long lunches, and the quiet rhythm of small village life. A summer that is surrounded around the simple act of gathering around a table.

Last year, Cristina and Rolf (HEIROL’s CEO and founder) decided to take a long-standing connection one step further. They found a home in a small village in Piedmont, nestled between the rolling Barolo vineyards. A quiet place of stone streets, slow mornings, and a food culture that invites you to pause, observe, and taste.

This is where Storie di Gusto begins.

A summer shaped by recipes, moments, and meals shared in restaurants, homes, and kitchens along the way. A way of experiencing Italy not as something distant, but as something lived - one table at a time.

Italy has always been part of HEIROL’s story. Not only as inspiration, but as something that feels like home in its own way - especially when it comes to food, cooking, and gathering around the table.

A big part of this comes from Cristina, who is half Italian and spent much of her childhood in Rome. Growing up between cultures meant growing up around food - long tables, simple ingredients, and the understanding that cooking is never just cooking, but a way of being together. From this blend of Finnish roots and Italian warmth, a natural love for cooking has grown. Nothing complicated - just good tools, good ingredients, and time spent around the table.

And in Piedmont, that philosophy feels especially alive. A summer of slowing down, cooking with intention, and letting the rhythm of the land guide every meal.

And this is just the beginning.
