As a child, I always knew that the countdown for Christmas had begun when Grandma’s freshly baked spice cake took over the house with its wonderful smell! ❤️
RECIPE
4 dl of wheat flour
3 dl of sugar (brown sugar works as well)
2 tsp of ginger
2 tsp of ground cloves
2 tsp of cinnamon
1 tsp of cardemom
1,5 tsp of baking soda
2 dl of milk
1,5 dl of apple sauce
100g of melted butter
Mix all the dry ingredients, and add the milk, butter, and applesauce. Mix quickly and bake at 170°C for 40-45 minutes.
