Perfect coffee with a moka pot

The Highlight of Every Morning – Rich Coffee Brewed with a Moka Pot!

The original aluminum Bialetti moka pots are likely the most well-known coffee makers in the world. With a moka pot, you can brew strong and full-bodied Italian-style coffee, which also makes an excellent base for milk-based coffee's.

Aluminum moka pots come in different sizes, so choose one based on how many coffee drinkers you’re serving. One cup corresponds to a small espresso cup, roughly 50 ml. Aluminum moka pots can be used on electric and gas stovetops. However, in our selection, you’ll also find an induction adapter, which allows you to use your pot on an induction stove. Bialetti also offers stainless steel models that are induction-compatible without any adapter.

Brewing coffee with a traditional moka pot is incredibly easy! Check out the instructions and video below!

How to Use a Moka Pot

Fill the bottom chamber of the moka pot with water up to the safety valve. Place the funnel-shaped filter into the pot and fill it evenly with espresso-ground coffee without pressing it down tightly since the coffee needs to allow pressure to build so it can rise into the upper chamber If the coffee is packed too tightly, it won’t flow properly. Put the moka pot on the stove and turn on the heat When the water starts boiling and the coffee begins to rise into the top chamber, you can reduce the heat slightly. Take the pot off the heat as soon as the brewed coffee reaches the top. Enjoy your delicious coffee and let the moka pot cool before cleaning. Rinse all parts with warm water only without soap and let them dry separately

A Few Tips

1.Only fill the water chamber up to the safety valve.

2.Fill the coffee basket lightly without tamping the coffee down.

3.Make sure the threads align properly when screwing the pot together Avoid twisting the pot by its handle.

4.Clean the pot only after it has cooled down a bit.

5.After each use rinse your moka pot with water only without soap and dry thoroughly Assembling an aluminum pot while still wet can cause corrosion.

6.Do not leave the used moka pot unwashed for too long because it can become very difficult to open later

7.The moka pot handle is not made for opening the pot and may crack if twisted too hard Open the pot by holding the body firmly and twisting.

8.Replace the gasket regularly because old gaskets harden and deteriorate over time.

Psst On induction cookers a small amount of water will remain in the bottom chamber for safety and to prevent overheating
